family at parade

My sister in law, Amber, posted this picture on her blog and I stole it.
I decided to post it because I have been afraid to post a picture of myself
lately.
And this one is a great angle and I am hiding behind Clark.
I'm sure that was strategic on my part.
I know it's silly.
You're supposed to gain weight when pregnant.
But it's still hard for me.
I can't explain it.
I'm hoping when I have a "baby bump" I'll embrace my body more.
Yesterday I picked up a pair of jeans from my friend Nikki,
she wore them when she was pregnant.
She cut the size out so nobody could see what size she wore.
I laughed and felt very grateful another person had trouble with the weight gain.
I feel slightly less superficial.
Slightly.

On another note;
Isn't our family cute?

Honestly, I'm probably the size of 2 of you, and I'm not pregnant. Your left side looks beautiful!

I read that Jessica Alba hated being pregnant, and said that she never felt that unsexy. But Angelina, my personal hero, said that she loves it and it makes her feel so womanly. Either way, you feel how you feel, and it's OK.

Kristina, funny you say that because I read that same thing about Saint Angelina, it also said, she feels that way because Brad finds pregnancy sexy. Casey has completely embraced the changes (so far). So I'm totally at a lost! If it worked for Ang... what about me. Wa! I should stop complaining and whining. It's probably really annoying.

Not to mention I do not care for Jessica Alba at all and I dont want to resemble her or her actions or feelings at all.

taylor trashed my body. it happens. but joe LOVED me pregnito. LOVED! weird. next time round i'd like to NOT gain a zillion pounds. and hopefully my boobs will just mind their own business. [whoa!] either way, once you have that baby in your arms, the stretch marks + chub don't seem to matter all that much. ;) i've imagined you pregnant [in my dreams :)] and you look AMAZING!

I'm nervous about it too. For when I am pregnant someday. You don't look pregnant.. at least that half of you doesn't in that picture.

Cutting the size out... what a GREAT idea! I heard of some great maternity pants, from mamablack.com they are super low cut so they don't have that annoying waste band deal. I'm gonna get me a pair once I finally get knocked up.

Girl, you look so good! Seriousl, I'm really rude and I wouldn't have left a comment if I thought otherwise! Pregnancy is rough on your body so don't be too hard on yourself!

Alexis... I'm a lame friend. I haven't congratulated you yet on even being pregnant and I'm sad we didn't get together before leaving Las Vegas, but let me be the first to say (although I doubt that I am) that you and Casey are going to make some pretty rad parents, and have some super hot babies. I'm a little jealous that you guys are beating Burke and I to it, but to be honest I'm okay with seeing how it goes for you and then deciding if I want to go through with it. =)

Anyways... if I make it to Vegas while you're still pregnant, can I photograph you? I have this pregnancy project in mind that I think would be cool.
