Mom Blog

So Im thinking about starting a mom blog.
Even though Im clueless about a lot of things.
Im all about mom stuff right now.
Im thinking about posting cool stuff like baby fashion forward clothes and stuff.
Mom stories, complaints, hints and what not.
My approach will obviously be easy going and sort of a
'I dont know what the freak Im doing, do you' kind of thing.
What are your thoughts?
Should I try?
And if so what should I include and what should I leave out?
Whats a rad name?
I really want you guys to comment.
Even if you never comment before- please let me know what you think about this.
And dont sugar coat...if you think Im too rookie to do it say so please.

I finally found our honeymoon pictures...I thought they were lost forever.

I think we weren't on the same page with this one-
Casey looks like he's taking a crap and I look like I'm trying to do sexy cougar or something.

Easter

We spent Easter with The Treese family and we loved it.
We did it a bit backwards Easter dinner on Easter
but we waited until Monday for the Easter Egg Hunt.
Which was the fastest Easter Egg Hunt EVER.

First: Dinner
I've said it before but my MIL Peggy is an amazing hostess.
So I am constantly taking notes.

I know- fabulous.

By the way...do you see the beets on the table?
Puke.
worst. food. ever.
Butter on the other hand, The Treese's love their butter almost more than Paula Deen.
The dinner was awesome,
I ate it one hand style because Ginger has an internal sense when it's dinner time
It's amazing how you learn to operate with a baby in one arm, leaving only one arm for the other.

I am so happy I have awesome nieces and nephews
because holidays just are not the same without kids.
Here we are getting our craft on.

Easter Day we missed Cody, Nikki and Tessa so we waited until Monday for the Easter Egg Hunt.

Here is what Ginger and I did...

I cant wait until next year with her!

It was a great Easter!

Later my parents sent me pictures of their Easter celebration.
They went to Long Beach to celebrate my Dad's cousin Justin retiring from the Marines.

As you can see my Dad's side of the family celebrates slightly differently...

I hope my dad doesn't follow my blog or I'm going to be in trouble for posting this picture.

Holidays are SO HARD.
I wish we could be two different places at one time.
I love our families,
as different as they are it only adds to the awesomeness.

No Easter pics, she practically slept the whole day.
I want to (and will) post more pictures but seriously we have
hundreds so I need to decide which ones.

I just prayed the whole time she would not choose this time to have a blow out.

Hmmmm

Why does Mick Jagger and Regis Philban rock my boat?
They are like 80. But I love them, like in that way.
They both are up there with Johnny Depp.
And why did I just use the term "rock my boat"?

Come on you guys to have crushes you have been dying to admit?
And if you say Zac Efron, I dont think we can be friends.

So what do you think about the title?
clever or lame?

I always admire those bloggers that just seem to have such witty titles.
Okay now as I have had 5 seconds to reflect on the title- I vote...lame.
But the title stays.

I learned a few things from this talented Momma Sassy
She makes fabulous bows, wipe cases, etc.

She asked me if Ginger wanted to model some bows for her Etsy site and
since my dream for G is to have Barbizon knocking at our door asking her to
model for the latest JC Penney ad- I, of course, agreed.

And I thought it was the most adorable thing in the world.

But now this is the normal cuddling that goes around here.
And the adorable factor is off the charts



And of course there is the matter of this cuddleness going on. (Do you like my new word?)



I dont even know who's bear this is but they better watch out because
sometimes I wouldn't put it past Casey to "borrow" things.

Moving on...

Im starting to craft. And by craft I mean find something that looks super cool that I want to make, buy the stuff and then talk about how I am going to do it. So basically I haven't, But mark my words...it will get done.

This is usually how I spend me days so I dont get cabin fever...



That's right; Target. And man, having a baby is just 568 more things to spend your money on.
