Let me paint the whole picture for you. We are sitting in the living area of our loft, on a blow up mattress wedged in between the television and the couch eating thai food take out. Were so lazy, but we love it! Casey would keep this mattress here forever if he could. Its here from house guests we had over the weekend and will probably remain here for the rest of the week.
UPDATE: After 3 weeks the mattress was put away.
A little about the dogs... We have two chihuahuas- Moses and Sammy, Moses is a 1 and 1/2 year old dwarf chihuahua and Sammy is an older rescue chihuahua (we have no idea how old). They are polar opposites. Moses is hyper, mischievous, super loving- on his own time- a momma's boy and quite entertaining. Sammy is way mellow, very well behaved, he dances when he needs to go out to pee, and waits for permission to get on the bed and always loving.
This is a play by play of Moses going for my pad thai. He thinks he so sneaky...
He pretends not to notice... Now he's eyeing it... Then he's lays his head on my thigh dreaming about it.
Then as soon as I walk away he grabs a piece!Meanwhile, this is what Sammy is doing...

If only you could see the mess on the other side of the camera :) piles i tell you! piles! but we just moved in 2 weeks ago... so i have a good excuse... kind of :)
haha we left an air matress in the livingroom for a month cause it was fun to lay on and watch tv or play nintendo (the old school kind) lol so I love that we arent the only ones!
This is Melissa Okuda. I love the blog! I love the air matress on the floor. If we had one Brady and I would probably blow it up and sit on it even if we didn't have house guests. :) Those things are great!
we don't have an air mattress... so what do we do? bring out the real mattress from our bedroom. We like to call it "Family Time". Last summer our AC went out and the only fan in our place is in our little kitchen nook so we moved out the table and put in the mattress so we could sleep under the fan. We realized that it was quite convenient in our little 1 bedroom condo. we were about 1 step from everything... the bathroom, the fridge, the tv. Then we upgraded to right in front of the tv which is genius. I'm glad you two have "family time" as well. isn't it the best?
YAY!! ALI IM SO EXCITED YOU GUYS DID A BLOG!! I miss Moses and sammy! I had so much fun seeing you too and I will for sure have to take a day and come down! Some shopping and pool reLAXation sounds just perfect! :) Tell Casey Hi!!
This looks like it was fun. Clay and I alway ate in front of the TV before we had kids. Those days are history.
